Little Things, Big Impact

by Alex Penuelas   Feb 18, 2018

The bee,
Small as it is,
Can nonetheless deliver
The biggest sting.

The black widow,
Insignificant in comparison to you,
Can deliver a bite that would
Make your hulking self be
Rushed to the hospital.

The mosquito,
Which can be destroyed by even the lightest flick,
Can still carry in it
Harmful diseases.

Viruses and bacteria,
Invisible to the naked eye,
Are the causes of countless
Diseases known to man.

Sometimes the smallest of things
Can cause the biggest damage.

Which explains my ex.

It really is the smallest things that cause strife in our lives but also it's the smallest things that can bring the biggest joys. A honest heart felt piece. Best wishes Milly

This is very thought provoking, honest and hits right where it hurts though very relatable unfortunately
