Mine

My lover's smile means I can sleep today
with no nightmares at all
and even if they come, they'll fade away
like raindrops in the Fall.
I wish I was there for at least the day,
to be the answer to her call;
to kiss her lips, to watch her smile and say
that she loves me even more.
Within her eyes I see the light of day,
like the sky after a storm.
And from her face, the shine of Heaven's rays:
