International Women's Day

by Paul Hirst   Mar 8, 2018

A hundred years since you got the vote and grabbed the World by its throat and so to you I proudly say today's International Women's Day
So put away that Hoover and lay down that brush stop making the beds and looking so flushed
Stop drying the dishes and picking up toys and reading bedtime stories to your girls and boys
Don't clean the windows don't mow the lawn quit darning those socks they are to tatty and torn
Put down the iron you have been at it for hours
Just take a break lads and go buy her some flowers

Hahaha ... great twist Paul, as I've come to expect from you ... this really turns the whole concept around ... if only it were actually true! ;-) x
