Hurricane of Misery

by Glenn G   Jun 6, 2018

Those in the winds of your life
Broken and shattered from the misery of your breeze

Those caught in the rumbling of your roaring waves
Drown with the undercurrent of your sadness

Yours eyes wet with the glimmer
Of the ugliness of the center of the eye of your soul

And as you pass through people’s lives
You suck the joy from their spirit
With the sound of a vacuum
Some would call your voice

And when you leave, and the cleanup begins
People know their lives will never be the same
Better maybe; but recover---never

I couldn't decide at the end of this whether it was meant to be metaphorical or not but that's why I like it.
    Great piece,

Thanks Ben. I wish it was metaphorical but unfortunately I actually know someone who inspired it.
