Love this Michael... I read a news article that apparently this heat wave we're currently having is now lasting until November, I surely hope not lol

Michael, this is wonderful, not least because it wet my appetite too and so this really resounded with me and probably anyone else who lives in Britain!
The personification of nature and the earth here is wonderfully done. Lovely haiku.
