Water Baby (acrostic)

Why is it I am always drawn to it?
At what cost is what I seek?
Tempest, storm or fury?
Excitement, adrenalin or death?
Rivulets turn to torrents.

By its flow I have lost so much!
And yet I love it so much too,
Bullets have killed many, so has the torrent.
You must never underestimate the water!

    You are the water baby who loves being in/on and around water. I like it too, but my fear keeps me from taking advantage of it. I'm glad you fo though.

      Don't be afraid of it, embrace it.

      However make sure you have the right training and equipment. Do this and you will have a blast.

    Sorry for two similar poems but my mind was in that place. Couldn't decide which to share so I post both.

    Many of you know I teach kayaking and canoeing (to a lesser extent rowing).

    I love the water but it never fails to humble me.
