Rocky foundation

by Dagmar Wilson   Apr 22, 2019

That moment when the rain stops
there hasn't been sun in days,
all you see is grey.

Trees are tired
birds are drying their feathers,
seasonal flowers may not recover.

Excessive rain, gusty winds
it's becoming a trend,
nature is crying.

Rich soil has turned into mud
wiping away all footprints,
the foundation is slowly turning hard.

You know what I find interesting, how some places in the worlds feel they have had enough of the rain, while others pray for it just wishing for few drops to give land a chance to breathe. Having too much or too little of anything is always not good. But in my opinion too much is a little better than too little.
I hope what I said makes sense :)

I liked this a lot Dagmar. It's almost as if the excessive rain is making us hard too. Hugs-
