Internal spirit

by Dagmar Wilson   Apr 27, 2020

I watch you from a distance
sipping reddish juice,
the air is breezy, wind is blowing through my hair.

Nature is wearing refreshing colors
birds are protecting their eggs,
a tiny lizard is enjoying its life.

I carry a cross in my pocket
stretching out my arms to the spirit,
the world keeps turning.
