The time has come

by Dagmar Wilson   Jul 26, 2020

Seasons come seasons go
trees are continuously turning gold,
hearts are heavy, lessons to be learned.

I am watching a movie on a blank screen
it's my movie all in black and white,
some parts will make you smile.
Time is written all over my face.

I have found peace in my soul
soon I am returning home,
it's been 27 years.
Pockets full of memories.

So many chapters
old, present and hopefully new,
I'm moving slowly, one step at the time.
