The Eye of Your Storm (Sonnet)

by Walter   Jul 23, 2019

In the still of the night I hear you breathe
As I can feel your heart pound where we lay
Though you don't say a word I sense your needs
And read all thoughts you are sending my way

I don't need the sun's light to shine on you
Because your skin is so warm that it glows
My hands will confirm what I always knew
You're as smooth and alluring as a rose

My total attention which you have caught
It seems your storm is now out of control
Your desires will burn until you have sought
The sensations that leave you feeling whole

Suddenly you're released as you transform
Here where we lie in the eye of your storm

Walter, so beautiful! I love how you put this together as if in the eye of the storm.
