Misdirection

My tongue is toxic,
my passion-
poison.

And here's a ragged
breath left in

suspension

for your own
interpretation.

As always Aegis your words are like magic. Love can be so many things and toxic poison is one of them. Some of the best things can be the most destructive.

I like how you highlight the paradox of passion being poison. The hypocrisy of something we believe in strongly or feel strongly about also having the danger of isolating others or isolating ourselves. It also made me think of being in a state of vulnerability and waiting with bated breath to see if the other person accepts us, or if they "brand" us or get the wrong impression of us.

The bated breath phrase was definitely a strong emotion that bled into this:)

Thanks! The word suspension is supposed to be completely offset but my phone won't let me do it. When I get a chance to find my laptop I'll see if I can fix it.
