A Wish

by Sunshine   Jun 17, 2020

I grieve
over the map that you lost,
wishing for a ponderous cloud
to take me by surprise.

To lift you off
then drop you by
like summer rain
above the roof
that longs for you.

This is still your cozy home,
but all its walls sleep in cold
and all its rooms remain empty.

To only evaporate and then precipitate where we are needed most...
    Excellent work, Rania.
