Into Nothingness

You were not my past;
you were the lost intervals
between the life and heart lines
curved on my hands-
that imprisoned me in time.

But now that I was cast into vacuum,
everything slowed down.

Today,
I'm traveling faster.

Perchance I forget you
by the speed of light.
