Delusion

A cup of coffee unwrapped
a world were darkness isn't bitter;
the reflection of your smile as I
grabbed the hot white mug spoke
to me before I even heard your voice.

Two strangers with the same order
overlapped one day.

We sat opposite of each other,
we shared a talk then a chocolate cake
for time had slipped from between
our fingers.

You understood what it's like to not
have a favorite, you didn't
have one either.

Our emotions aliened, interests matched
it was like we shared the exact same DNA,
yet you took the better copy

...... someone finally understands me.

"Excuse me, can I use this chair"

In that mirror opposite of me
the perfect image of you shattered.
