November (Acrostic)

by Maple Tree   Nov 2, 2020

Nightly she whispers to me
Overcasting emotions while
Violets die from frostbite
Ending a life of natures
Memory.
Bring me back to yesterday,
Engulf this spirit in song, so that I can hear the
Robin sing; one last time.

I do like this form of poetry. Somehow they manage to channel the poet's inner voice. Your poem sings a bittersweet song. The fluting Robin song reverberates long after the poem is read. C
