Your Silent Smile

by Walter   Dec 4, 2020

Your warmth is felt before we touch
Though silent in volumes you speak
A love I've yearned and craved so much
And no longer will I seek

Your smile transforms not just my soul
But is felt with every sense
My heart which you already stole
For you I've no defence

There is nothing more which I would need
Than to have you by my side
My heart's hunger for you will plead
And only you who can provide

As the sun sets so you transform
Where all your beauty's felt
With the night you still glow warm
And my heart begins to melt

The first star appears, my wish is made
And I only dream of you
Each night I thank that star displayed
For making my dreams come true

Now in my arms I hold you close
And it's here where you belong
All my senses which you arose
While on this path we walk along
