kaleidoscopic in nature, you are at worst,
a watchfire gone rampant while unattended,
and at best, an unheralded galaxy.
my heart’s capable of splitting you into your
components:

i. bountiful warmth
ii. infinite light
iii. gentle kindness

i. how do you carry so much warmth?
what is it that you burn that produces
that much heat, or are you just constantly
scorching from a passion for life?

ii. why is it that your shadows are artificial?
you say you’re not the sun, but nothing
eclipses you.

iii. you breed understanding,
everywhere you go,
all of this is second nature
to you.
