Plastic Waste

Plastic Waste

Plastic waste is not okay,
But we can't stop and we will pay.

It is in almost everything now,
To ask how we got here I dont know how.

We use it one time and to the garbage it goes,
And the landfills growing I suppose.

It ends up on the side of the road,
And it can make a big load.

We should really stop throwing it away,
And recycle it starting today.

    Great message :)
Plastic waste is NOT okay, exactly. This world is so beautiful the way it is, and, despite all out efforts, no one seems to notice. It leaves me wondering : if everyone knows that it's not okay, then who is still dumping litter? It's like the group think theory reversed, that, individually, we all know what's right, but, put together, we make the wrong decisions. In this case, we all know what's right, but individually, we keep getting it wrong.
I enjoyed the rhymes. There's nearly faultless grammar, just

To ask how we got here I dont know how

^^'dont' needs as apostrophe before the t, I think. Powerful line :)
I loved the final couplet especially. Really interesting poem
