Scream and Shout

daggers for eyes staring right at me
yet somehow looking right through me

words full of hate thrown back and forth
both just so hungry to cause each other pain

ignorant to the damage that you keep doing
apparently everything is all of my fault

You want to play the oh so poor victim
But you're not left with any wounds

You keep demanding that you have feelings
all I see in front of me is cold hard plastic

blind to the world that surrounds you
never want to hear what anyone else says

can't handle being an actual human being
only know how to drink your worries away

I wish so bad that you could see the truth
Of all of the damage that you've done to me

You insist on believing your perfect lies
close your eyes to the scars that you caused

I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised
today is no different than every other day

Just another day you conveniently won't remember
And another day that I won't be able to forget
