Momma

Momma:
My momma, my love, my guiding light,
Though we've drifted apart, you're still so bright.
Life's twists and turns have taken their toll,
But my love for you will never grow old.
I remember your warm embrace,
Your gentle touch, your smiling face.
You taught me to walk, to talk, to dream,
To believe in myself, to always gleam.
But as we grew, so did the distance,
Misunderstandings, hurt, and resistance.
We fought, we cried, we pushed away,
And our bond began to fray.
I know I've made mistakes, I've caused you pain,
But my love for you has always remained.
You're my momma, my rock, my everything,
And I long for the day when we can sing.
Together again, like we used to be,
A mother and child, happy and free.
I love you, momma, with all my heart,
And I hope that one day we'll make a new start.
