Our Love Story

by Tim   Mar 14, 2024

In the summer of '82, love sparked bright,
At an arcade, hearts took flight.
With rotary phones, conversations spun,
Building a bond, two hearts as one.

Godfather's pizza and movies galore,
Cruising in a Chevelle, what memories pour.
Midwest city nights, Oklahoma's charm,
In each other's arms, safe from harm.

Frisbees flying, flashlights aglow,
Football in hand, where memories grow.
With a cooler and hacky sack in tow,
70s, 80s songs, our hearts did know.

42 years of love's sweet embrace,
Each moment cherished, in time's own space.
Through ups and downs, our love endured,
A timeless tale, forever secured.
