Night Terrors

Night Terrors
In the stillness of the night,
A child's cry pierces the air.
A mother's heart skips a beat,
As she rushes to her child's care.
The child is thrashing and screaming,
Their eyes wide with fear.
They are trapped in a nightmare,
That they cannot disappear.
The mother holds her child close,
And whispers words of love.
She tries to calm their fears,
As they struggle to rise above.
The night terrors come and go,
But they leave a lasting scar.
On the child who suffers them,
And on the family who cares.
But through it all,
The family remains strong.
They support each other,
And they know that they will never be alone.
So if you are a family affected by night terrors,
Know that you are not alone.
There are others who understand,
And who are there to help.
