Silent Echoes

by Gracy Judith   Apr 5, 2025

In the fog of fleeting moments,
I see you grasping at shadows
where light once bled.

In hope, you shed your borrowed skin,
pursuing the ache of forgotten dreams.
Do you ever dissolve into the void?

Through heartache, I watched you—
stand still amidst the storm of empty words.

Through sorrow, I learnt from you—
how to echo without sound,
how to break without form.

This is a nice piece. Strong in so many ways. I love the ending: "how to echo without sound,"
but does "how to break without form." mean breaking into formlessness or or braking while formless. Still could even mean breaking by the formlessness.

    Lovely !
