Heavenward

by Oluwaseye Olayode Taiwo   Feb 3, 2026

The beauty of life
is not in how loudly we are remembered,
but in how gently we walk toward heaven.

At the end of all striving,
when titles fall away
and time closes its book,
only one truth stands breathing before us:
how we lived.

Did I choose truth
when silence was easier?
Did I love God
not just in prayer,
but in my footsteps,
my forgiveness,
my surrender?

The world asks for success,
but the soul asks for faithfulness.
And heaven listens
not for perfection,
but for a heart that tried—
again and again—
to belong to God
while still on earth.

That is the measure.
That is the crown.

The beauty of life is found in the quiet hope of heaven at the end of the journey. When all is said and done, only one question truly remains: did I do my best to live in truth, and did I offer my life to God while I was here on this earth? Everything else fades, but a life lived with faith, love, and sincerity echoes into eternity.
