Patience

by Dawn   May 8, 2026

While I waited for my beloved,
The seas turned black,
The plants faded away,
The sky appeared orange,
As the moon brightens to red,
And every soul hardened to stone.
Just like a hungry predator,
The darkness swallowed my whole.
Still, I waited, patiently,
For my beloved.
