At Odds With Myself

by Guilty By Design   Jun 14, 2026

If you ever wonder if I loved you,
know that I stood at odds with myself for you.
I argued with my own convictions,
dismissed the warning signs in my chest,
and chose you again and again,
even when every rational part of me suggested otherwise.
That wasn’t weakness.
It wasn’t confusion.
It was love.
Messy, hopeful, relentless love.
