Anti Traffic Anthem

by charbel   Jul 5, 2026

Left the house at half past eight
Google Maps said "You'll be late"
Ten kilometers, two hours gone
I think my youth is moving on

Horns are playing symphonies
Scooters dance between the trees
At this speed I swear today
I'll reach my office in mid-May

I just wanna drive, move along
I've been stuck here way too long
Tank is full, my patience gone
Traffic sings its endless song

Beep beep beep from left to right
Everybody wants to fight
If I survive this daily quest
I'll put my car to final rest

Traffic, traffic, let me through
I've got things I'd like to do
Coffee cold and spirit weak
I've moved three meters in a week

Traffic, traffic, hear my plea
Leave a little road for me
At this rate I'll never roam
I'll retire before I'm home
