Beautiful

They tell us beauty is only skin deep,
But we never listen.
It makes no difference who they are.
Whether their beauty is real or an imitation.
If we all based beauty on the person within,
How hideous some of us would be.
Instead we mask ourselves with make up
To cover up the person
So many will never see.
Beautiful will always mean beautiful
No matter how we use the meaning.
But be careful how you see it,
For looks can be deceiving.
