Turning into darkness
Nothing feels right
And you're still on my mind
Through my sleepless nights

Little rays of sun shine
Trying to seep through
But keep getting blocked out
By the painful thoughts of you

Little shards of feelings
Sprawled upon the floor
Looking at your picture
But still needing something more

Your picture brings me comfort
But each breath brings me pain
Wanting nothing more than your embrace
But only your picture will remain.

Looking now inside myself
Knowing all I need is you
Hoping for more than your picture
And that our friendship will renew
