Stupid Little Girl

You always made me feel so small
A stupid little girl trying to be grown
I had my innocence still in place
All of this pain was then unknown

It was not until I realized I loved you
That I saw the world in a new light
I saw that things were far from perfect
That life was a just a constant fight

You made me aware that evil lived
When yet again you broke my heart
I learnt how it felt to be vulnerable
When you decided to tear me apart

For the first time ever I felt dumb
As I allowed you to take control
I believed you would protect me
But you damaged my mind and soul
