Love Will Conquer All

All I want is a reason for the way things have to be.
Why we can't just get along.
Why can't there be peace...
Between countries, families, and friends?
One bombing after another.
When will it end?
We're told to be a certain way.
If we're not, shame on us.
We have all become so scared
And so reluctant to trust.
Diseases take the lives of the ones we love.
So is it true?
Do the good really have to die young?
The day will come when we're taken from this place.
So many questions will need to be asked.
What a price we paid.
Through the triumph and tragedy
The angles we will call.
For I still believe love will conquer all.
