The Dawn of Death

by Fallen Angel Freya   Oct 25, 2004

*NB*This is a poem my friend/sister wrote, she asked me to put it on the net on behalf of her.

Skies of grey
Clouds of black
Unseen sun
Not coming back.

Raindrops falling
Like tears from my eyes
No one knows me
No point in goodbyes.

I hear the phone ring
I just ignore the sound
My life is crap
I hate hanging around

Heaven of peace
Hell of desire
I watch the knife
As I slowly lift it higher.

A slit of the wrist
A trickle of blood
Not long later
The trickle formed a flood

I hate life, I HATE IT!
So I slit the other one
I don’t want to live
HELL HAS WON!!

I feel the pain
As I cry and scream
Life isn’t as sweet
As cookies ‘n’ cream

Clenching my hands to fists
I curse and swear out loud
My hands go weak
Then I collapse on the ground

My life draining away
My soul burning in hell
I tried to stand
But I stumbled and fell

So I lay on the floor
Slowly dying in pain
I watch my blood drip
Knowing I’ll never live again

I close my eyes
I take one last breath
My body goes numb
This is the Dawn of Death……
