My Disintegrating Vampire

** This poem is strange, it was inspired by one of Anne Rice's books, thank you.**

Your mind, your spirit, discarnate
Your scent, your voice, disintegrated
Your kiss, frost touch, fading
Bleeding soul, tearful love, terminated.

How do I find you when you're gone?
How can I love you when you're not here?
I can not feel the exodus
I can not see you, nor hear.

The sweetest tune you play has gone
It's left the beat evaporating.

You lurk beneath lurid shadows,
Watch me in the night
But where are you, my prince, without Armour?
Do you plan to watch me weep for you?

Your body, your illustration, imaginative
Your warmth, your aura, musky and none
Our memoir, our lives, historical
This chapter of our novel, is finished, done.

How can I continue when you left me?
How do you expect me to carry on with glee?
Whiskey bottles swarm around my feet
Laughing bitter, nightmares haunt my sleep.

"My love, my blood thirster, I am ready for pain"
I breathed in, and gulped, saying these words again.
But your answer was futile, I did not receive,
So I gulp and drank, this bloody massacre.

"I know it was hard, being with me,
But don't I get a chance, to be the one you need?"
In a second you came, jumped on my neck
Sucked the blood, with one little peck.

I fell to the floor, my pain, no more
And when I woke your presence had gone
Left me to live once again alone
Use me, throw me, I'm just another girl.
To a vampire with fangs
In this imaginary world.
