A Speech I Had To Give For English

Introduction:
My mom used to tell me when I was younger that I was the best thing that could have happened to her and with a smile she would kneel down and kiss my forehead while tucking me in at night. I remember the screams I heard in the next room while my dad was repeatedly hitting her because she didn’t have an abortion. He didn’t want me. I was a mistake in his eyes, and I still am to this day. I remember how incredibly strong my mother was, how great of a role model she was, and I remember how much she loved me. But I remember that we struggled, how badly she wanted to give up, and how much she wished she’d waited to have a child. But she has stuck by me all my life and she has never given up. I do not believe in abortion, I do not believe a woman who wants an abortion should be able to have one, but I do believe if you get an abortion that you are a murderer.

Dr. Haskell on December 10, 1989, after giving his third abortion, stated, “It came out very quickly after I put the scissors up in the cervical canal and pierced the skull and spread the scissors apart… in the previous two, I had used the suction to crush the skull.”

How is that not murder?

Middle:
Sometimes I really worry about my friends, the decisions they make about sex, and the consequences they’ll face in the future if pregnant. Would abortion cross they’re mind? Could they ever consider killing a potential life? It is such a poverty to decide that a child must die, so that you may live as you wish. If you killed your baby, there will always be that thing in the back of your mind saying what if. There will always be that one regret that you can never take back. Living life to the fullest doesn’t mean being a coward, it doesn’t mean taking the easy way out and it definitely doesn’t mean turning down something that could end up being the best thing that could ever happen to you. Everyone has troubles, obstacles they have had to overcome, and I’m sure everyone has felt like shutting down. But don’t give up on something that you know you’ll think about for the rest of your life. Life is a test. But if you stay strong, keep your head clear, and think about what lies ahead… You will have a wonderful life. I can promise you that.

Conclusion:
There have been about 42,525,620 babies murdered in the United States since 1973, there have been 1,337,450,443 babies murdered worldwide! These numbers change every two or three minutes. The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion. If we accept that a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? "What is the difference between somebody who shoots a child on the street and a doctor who kills a poor innocent baby, who's only "crime" was to be conceived to parents who did not want him? Who is stopping us?
