Drive Home

by Baby B   Nov 20, 2004

I havent written in a really long time and I really need some feedback Please

I sit here
staring out the window,
straight through the leafless trees
at the street that I once knew.
It seems so quite,
such a peaceful drive.
Where is everyone heading?
Are they running like I wish I was
or do they have a destination,
home maybe?
Tears start to fall
once again from my eyes.
The night seems so dead,
so mixed up in my own feelings.
Where is my home,
Where do I belong?
As the headlights pass,
the only thing I can see.
I wish I could drive away
into the endless night,
no care in the world,
but to find home,
my home.
