Sometimes I Go Off Into a Daze, A Hazy Desolate Glare
No 1 Ever Notices Me Neither Do They Care

Today Is Suppose To Be Special I Feel It In My Heart
But From Any Other Day I Can't Tell Them Apart

I Sat Up Within My Bed Thinking Back On Life
The Happiness And The Sadness, The Road Of Endless Strife

Another Year Has Come & Gone An Here I Lie The Same
Nothing But The Date On My Calendar Ever Seems To Change

I Get Up And Get Dressed With a Half Baked Smile
Hoping Maybe This Year It Will All Be Worth My While

I Go Into The Kitchen Expecting Maybe Some Punch Or Cake

As i Walk Around I See Everyone Is Sleep

After A Couple Hours My Family Do Arise
Acting Like They Normally Do, And Wiping Manner Out Their Eyes

I Sat Around All Day Hoping They;d Remembered
Today Is Almost As Important As The Day In December

That Night I Went Off To Bed, To Them It Was a Normal Day
They Had Nothing To Give Me And Not a Word To Say

I Got Up After Tossing And Turning And Drowning In My Tears
All Because They Couldn't Remember 1 Day Out This Year

I Went Into The Kitchen Searching For a Knife
To Take The Only Thing I Once Knew As My Life

Before I Let The Blood Drip Away From The Tragic Slash Across My Throat
I Got A Pen And Paper And Rote Them All a Note
