Come and find me

by Mild insomnia   Dec 11, 2004

If you want me, come and find me.

The shards of life,
That glint at night,
In the pale moonlight…

Lay lost, forgotten,
If you can spot them,
There’s still hope then…

For I’m soaring free,
High above the world that restricted me…

You said it yourself,
I’ve much more to give,
Than live,
Through this hell,
A broken empty shell,
Left behind,
Come and find,
Me or bid me farewell.

Through ancient valleys,
And cross the seas,
I run in ecstasy…

Lose faith if I’m not worth the chase,
Or keep up the pace…

For I’m sick of this place…

You said it yourself,
I’ve much more to give,
Than live,
Through this hell,
A broken empty shell,
Left behind,
Come and find,
Me or bid me farewell.
