Changed

by Emily Strickland   Dec 25, 2004

Everytime I Hear Your Voice
My Heart Shatters On The Floor
The Tear Drops Start To Form
Every Second Building More

I Havent Been Taking This Well
Ever Since I've Been On My Own
How Can You Sound So Stable
Even Though You've Been Alone

Long Ago There Was A Time
That We Were Both Together
Things Were So Different Then
When You'd Promise Me Forever

But Once Again You Have Won
Just Like You Always Seem To Do
Trampling Over Others Feelings
With No One In Mind But You

And The Questions Still Remain
Whats The Worst You Can Take
Or The Worst Thing You Can Say
From Every Heart You Break

Still Burning On Like The Match
The One That Was Lite By You
Incinerating The Memories You Left
Of The People You Once Knew

I Cant Carry On This Way
Knowing Everything Meant Nothing
And All This Time I Was Fooled
In Believing We Had Something

The Damage Has Been Done
This Time Things Rearranged
Our Relationship Is Gone
And My Love For You Has Changed
