My Fear

I’m going to tell you something
Something you don’t want to hear
I hope you listen
Because this is what I fear

This world is coming to an end
I know this for sure
The world we know today
Is soon going to be no more

It’s all because of us
We’re burning our atmosphere
All the things we have
Are soon gonna disappear

Our children or maybe our grand kids
Will not be able to live
All because of our mistakes
It’s not something we can forgive

So many things that can happen
Like the sun burning this place
Or another ice age
Our world today, such a disgrace

We need to fix, what we have ruined
Before there is no future in sight
So please Im asking you
Try to make things right

* I wrote this after I watched the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" It really scared me and made me think about what we are doing to the earth..this poem can-t even begin to explain what can happen and how I feel about it..we need to stop ruining are world, or else we are not going to have one anymore, If everyone would watch that movie, They would have a total different outlook on our world. Anyways this poem isnt the best, but oh well..Shanney:o)*
