A cruel word from a stranger,
can make you as made as hell,
a cruel word from an enemy,
makes you want to hurt them back.
But a cruel word from a so-called friend,
Will stay with you forever
It will cut your heart,
Make you bleed,
Make you cry silent tears.
Even when they apologise,
It's forever in your mind,
That thing they did,
Those words they said,
When they wanted you to hurt.
