False Tears

There is a difference between hearing ones cries and actually listening
There is a difference between the sun and the moon
But there is no difference between visible and non-visible tears
Because it makes them non the less real

I soon realize that…

Tears fall from my face and drown my heart,
As an ocean floods a lonely town
My tears come and they go like a tide,
And it washes up the real me which I’ll never know

They come in and out, like ocean waves
Wetting the beach sand which is my face
And then again the sun comes out to dry my eyes
As well as all the unwanted tears

Things may not always seem what they are
For what is inside no one can see
Because although no tears wash amongst my face
I can still hear myself cry within
As searing pain penetrates my heart

All tears are full of emotion
And none of them are inexistent
For feelings cannot be hidden
From an ocean full of tears from a sorrow heart

There is really nothing you can do,
To stop yourself
Just find the strength within to question yourself…
Could these be,
False tears?
