Prayer Answered

by HeAvENLy UniQue   Dec 30, 2004

Thy fool who dreamed of roses,
Longed for heat and no thunder.
Thirsty for water but not for rain.
Shrieked silently with no voice.
Detained with the wind of the day.
Prayers that were not answered.
Thy fool never inclined to explain.

Thy fool who dreamed of roses,
Longed for caress and no rejection.
Hungry for food but not for vegetables.
Cried excessively with no tears.
Trapped with the twist of thy life.
Prayers that were not answered.
Thy fool so innocent died last night.

Thy fool got more than roses.
Thy fool got more than love.
Thy fool got set free.
Thy fool got sent up above.
