Mum what happened to us?
Whats caused us to act this way?
Hardly speaking or talking to each other,
Hating the other more every day.
We used to be best friends, you and I,
It was 'Us girls stick together'
But thats all stopped now for some reason,
Even though you said you'd love me forever.
All the girly things we did with each other,
The things that made me grin.
Now make me realize that you stopped loving me then,
Have I committed some sort of sin?
You used to cheer me up when I was upset,
But now you create my tears.
Why have you started loathing me so much?
Just over the past few years.
You used to understand what I went through,
You sorted out the problems I had.
But now you don't seem to know you have a daughter,
I find that kinda sad...
Before you could make me laugh,
And always make me smile.
But those things haven't happened recently,
Not for quite a while.
I miss having someone to talk to,
Someone who listened like they cared.
But the last time I was crying and asked for your advice,
You just stood and stared.
Oh god, what have I done?
How can I make things alright again?
Cause I cant cope with life like this,
Its giving me too much pain.
Every time I think of how we used to be,
It brings a tear to my eye.
You don't give a sh!t about me anymore,
You probably wouldn't care If I were to die.
The other day I realized something,
Now I don't have you.
I'm all alone Ive lost my mum,
And a damn good best friend too...
