I'm Real

by Lithium   Jan 23, 2005

Everyday seems to leave me with a scar,
A scar that once gave me relief,
From this pain I feel from within,

At the time,
It’s the best feeling you could have,
But then a week later you’re left with the remains,

Each tool I use,
Leaves a mark,
A mark that proves I’m real,

A person with feelings,
Even if there all depressing,
I can still feel,

I may have scars,
And many of them,
But this doesn’t make me a monster,

After all I’m human,
Human just like you.
