Guaranteed

by Mild insomnia   Jan 23, 2005

It looks like I have messed up once again,
And I’m sorry,
For all the times that I put you through pain,
It’s not my intent – trust me,
I just have a habit of breaking a good thing,
And I won’t know til it’s too late,
I don’t know how to explain…

Like when I’m with you,
All I wanna do,
Is really be with you,
Like in the movies.

But it’s guaranteed to go wrong,
I see no point in you holding on,
It’s not like I’m worth the strain.
Maybe it’s not meant to be,
Maybe it’s fate, maybe it’s me,
I don’t mind being the one to blame.

I’ve walked this round a thousand times,
Before,
And while you were away sleeping I,
Walked a thousand more,
Every shred of happiness is confiscated,
By who ever makes up the rules,
Guess they don’t like the sound of you.

As soon as I see you,
I just wanna do,
Everything you ask me to,
What the hell’s wrong with me?

It’s GUA-REN-TEED to go wrong,
I see no point in you holding on,
It’s not like I’m worth the strain.
Maybe it’s not meant to be,
Maybe it’s fate, maybe it’s me,
I don’t mind being the one to blame.
