Human folly

by Jacob Perry   Jan 27, 2005

Char the skin
Crush the bone
Spread the blood
Upon the throne

Show the king
What hell is
Show them all
The tax they pay

Burn the Mosque
Crumble the Temple
Make them slaves
And colonize again

Change all the good
Back to the bad
Murder the present,
Kill the future too
Take away the past
So you can look at yourself each day

Death to the witch you shout
And then death to the traitor
Kill all those who don’t agree
And yet you’re so much better than me?

Nothing in and nothing out
All with in the spiritual drought
Insane or a genuine genius?
Who decides in the end?

I leave this a note for you
on which to think carefully
do you know the truth
or are you a tool
are really you your own leader
or just someone else’s fool?
