Paradoxals

by Jacob Perry   Mar 31, 2007

Noiseless noise, sound through a vacuum
The insane man is speaking sanely
The cutter in the corner bleeds though there is no blood
The lover hates
The war creates
The racist is indiscriminate
The turning world stops turning
The single soul stops living; broken
The sunlight casts night unto earth
The moonlight casts day
The sleeping man stays awake
The infinite is finite
Time flows in reverse
She promises to break all her promises
What is left the same when your eternity is broken?
What is left when you kill time?
Where will you go inside yourself when you've torn your mind to shreds?
Where is the nowhere heaven in this hell
Come close and ill tell you.

Holes in nothing, cellar door open,
creation is destroyed

I liked it. I love paradoxes. They're prolly my favorite literary device. It was really nice to hear from you again!
