Do you know what I do when I’m sad?
When the tears run down my face?
When my eyes are red, my nose is swollen,
But I brush them away with haste.

Do you know what I do when I laugh?
When I let my happiness roar?
When I giggle until my belly aches,
Begging: “Please, no more!”

Do you know what I do when I’m mad?
When you make my skin just crawl?
When I run to my room and scribble things,
That make no sense at all.

Do you know what I do when I dream?
When I let my imagination roam?
When fantasy becomes reality,
And reality becomes unknown.

Do know what I do when I’m scared?
When I am totally paralyzed?
When I all I want is my warm, safe bed,
And to attempt to stifle my cries.

Do you know what I do when I’m depressed?
When I want to slit my wrists?
When I think of all the shitty things,
And none of the good which do exist.

Do you know what I do when I’m heartbroken?
When I dream of times gone past?
When I think of why it ended,
And how it’s my fault it didn’t last.

Do you know what I do when I’m pensive?
When I ponder the ways of the world?
When I think of the corruption of society,
And the way it makes me hurl.

Do you know what I do when I’m craving?
When I want a really long kiss?
When I have way too much withdrawal,
And just a hug will seem like bliss.

Do you know what I do when I’m writing?
When I put my ideas on paper?
When I figure out rhymes, and rhythms too,
Which I just might add on later.

I’m not sure you know,
What I do every single instant
So before you start to judge me,
Take a look, and wait a second.
