What happened to best friends?
i gave you my trust
we got on so well
i even fell into lust

we used to talk for hours
every night on the phone
it was also thanks to you
as a person i had grown

but you changed somehow
how come i didn't see?
it took until that fateful night
the night you lied to me

i trusted you with secrets
my heart and my soul
i trusted you with everything
until everything you stole

i feel so hurt, betrayed
and defeated
i would never have seen this coming
but now my heart it is depleted

i cant control my feelings anymore
all this anger and hurt
has turned a once good friendship
into a war

you were the first guy
i ever considered to be a best friend
but look what you did
look how it had to end
