Why don't you even look my way?
You don't ever even acknowledge me,
No matter how much I hope and pray!

What is it you hate about me?
Am I not good enough for you?
If you have a problem with me,
Be a man and tell me the truth!

Does it bring you some kind of pleasure
To watch me weep and cry?
To make me always hate myself!
Or maybe wish to even die?

Are you totally completely blind?
Can't you see how alike we are?
You always ignore me or blow me off!
Whether I'm standing near or far!

Why does it seem like you hate me?
I haven't done anything to you!
Don't you know that when you ignore me
It tears my heart completely in two?

Why do you treat me this way?
You always seem annoyed or mad at me!
Please tell me how I can change,
I'll do anything to have you and me!

My heart longs more every day!
For your absolute undying love!
But instead you turn your head away
With a pain on your face and give me a shove!

Will you ever open your eyes
And see me right in front of you?
Until then I'll lie here in the dark,
